How can you post a Job Listing? All Members of the Greater Escondido Chamber of Commerce (GECC) are able to post job listings, including those with Free Verified Listings. Log into your account. The Job Listing link appears on the first page opened.

How are jobs shown on the site: All jobs are posted in the order with which they are received with the most recent job openings showing first. All listings automatically expire in fourteen days. There is no limit as to how many times a listing can be reposted.

How many job listings can an employer post? There is no limit as to the number of job listings that an employer can post.

Is there any charge for posting a Job Listing? Employers do not pay a fee for posting job listings. This job listing board is a service provided by the supporting members and sponsors of the GECC.

How do job seekers locate job openings that are right for them? Job Seekers type in a key word or phrase into a search box. Search results are based on information found in the Job Titles and Job Descriptions provided by employers. Employers should craft Job Titles and Job Listings with key words that will generate the best results.

What information should employers provide in the Job Listing?

Job Title: Each listing requires a Job Title.

Job Description: Employers are free to include whatever they like in their Job Description. An effective listing should include a concise picture of a job role, including its duties, goals, and responsibilities. Job Descriptions may also include items such as: Job requirements, Preferred Qualities, Pay Range, Benefits, and How best to apply. The preferred contact name, email address, phone or fax number may also be included in the Job Description.

How do job seekers make contact? All Job Listings include a link to the GECC member’s directory listing which includes a phone number, address and Website Address. Also included in every member’s directory listing is a message box which will allow the employer to receive messages via their email account on file. Job seekers should use the preferred contact name, email address, phone or fax number if these are included in the Job Description.
